Parents of Virtual students:
We are anticipating the opportunity to service our virtual eaglets during the 2020-2021 school year. ALL parents and students must report to the school on August 19, 2020 from 4p.m.-6p.m. During this time, parents will complete necessary paperwork and obtain log-in credentials. In an effort to expedite the process, you may print and sign the last two pages in the attached document. We are asking the parents with devices not to obtain a chromebook at this time. We are waiting on additional devices, but we do not want to delay the start date any further. I know that students are ready to learn and we are ready to provide the platform.
In an effort to provide clarification, virtual learning is standard-based instruction provided by a computerized program. The parent plays a vital role in making sure the student remains on task and complete assignments. We will have teachers available to check in on the student's progress, but there will not be a face to face meeting daily with teachers. All grades will come from the completion of the program in a timely manner.
