Over the years, I have taught every grade level from Kindergarten through Grade 12. I began my career as a 4th grade teacher in Missouri and moved into Middle School Special Education, Grades 6-8 in Florida. Additionally, I have taught Special Education, grades K-5 and English/Language Arts grades 6-12, along with working with students in a high school course credit recovery/dropout prevention program in all core subject areas in order to help at-risk students achieve their goal of graduating from high school.

I am a mother of four children, three daughters and one son. My oldest daughter, Michaela, is a graduate of University of Central Florida with a degree in Public Administration/Legal Studies. She is also a graduate of Stetson University School of Law and is currently an attorney in Orlando, Florida. My second oldest daughter, Delaney, recently graduated from University of Central Florida with a degree in Public Administration/Non-Profit Management and currently works and resides in Dallas, Texas. My youngest daughter, Quincy, is a senior at Pace High School who has plans to attend the University of Central Florida in the fall of 2021, and my son, Carter, is in 7th grade this year.  

We are a family that loves all things Disney and we make frequent trips to Disney World. We also love the beach and anything related to water sports and recreation. We love spending time together whenever we can and our favorite family activities include cooking (and eating!), watching movies, and playing board games. We also like to travel whenever we get the chance.
