Alex Alvarez graduated with Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Elementary Education with an ESOL Endorsement from the University of West Florida in 2005

Alex Alvarez has been involved with educational programs since graduating college in 2005. Since then, he has worked with multiple organizations including the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, Mobile County Schools, Haskell Indian Nations University, and Yale University. 2020-2021 will be his second year as 6th grade ELA/Writing Teacher.

Alex Alvarez was born and raised in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where he attended Choctawhatchee High School until graduation in the year 2000. He received multiple scholarships and attend the University of West Florida and graduated in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, Alex has worked with a multitude of educational programs across the country. He lives in Flomaton, Alabama with his wife, Amber, and his 3 children, Sydney, Colby, and Yanasa. He enjoys traveling, the outdoors, fishing, gardening, soccer, and working on his art.
